# Math Notes vs LogStuff

The clearest difference is update cadence: Math Notes at every 10 days against LogStuff's every 4 months. LogStuff's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and LogStuff sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Notes ships an update every 10 days, LogStuff every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
