# Math Notes vs RecGo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Math Notes at every 10 days against RecGo's every 5 weeks. RecGo's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and RecGo sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Notes ships an update every 10 days, RecGo every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
