# eCrimp vs BDI Express

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eCrimp at 50% against BDI Express's 0%. eCrimp also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). BDI Express's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BDI Express holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eCrimp has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of eCrimp's written reviews are positive against 0% of BDI Express's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eCrimp ships an update every 3 months, BDI Express every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
