# SoniCloud vs SoniNote

The clearest difference is rating: SoniNote at 5.0 against SoniCloud's 1.9. SoniCloud's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.5 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoniCloud sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and SoniNote sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoniNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SoniCloud has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SoniCloud ships an update fortnightly, SoniNote every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
