# Tomato Timer ۬ vs Dopace

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dopace at daily against Tomato Timer ۬'s every 3 weeks. Dopace also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Tomato Timer ۬'s advantage is ratings volume (189 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tomato Timer ۬ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Dopace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tomato Timer ۬ ships an update every 3 weeks, Dopace daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
