# Frequency vs Speaker Connect ™

The clearest difference is rating: Frequency at 4.7 against Speaker Connect ™'s 2.0. Frequency also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 4). Speaker Connect ™'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speaker Connect ™ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Frequency asks for nothing beyond the download.

Frequency holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frequency has 1.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Frequency ships an update fortnightly, Speaker Connect ™ daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
