# Frequency vs ScopeSnap

The clearest difference is ads: ScopeSnap at none against Frequency's shown. Frequency's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Frequency ships an update fortnightly, ScopeSnap every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
