# Frequency vs Frequency Generator

The clearest difference is ads: Frequency Generator at none against Frequency's shown. Frequency Generator also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Frequency's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Frequency Generator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frequency has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
