# Connect TV Remote vs Universal TV Remote™ Control

Connect TV Remote and Universal TV Remote™ Control both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 49% of Universal TV Remote™ Control's written reviews are positive against 9% of Connect TV Remote's. Universal TV Remote™ Control also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (33K vs 2.2K). Connect TV Remote's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Connect TV Remote sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Universal TV Remote™ Control sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
