# TOREROWA vs Elpis

The clearest difference is rating: Elpis at 4.5 against TOREROWA's 3.3. Elpis also leads on ratings volume (509 vs 43). TOREROWA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (48% vs 15%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TOREROWA sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Elpis sells 27 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elpis holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elpis has 509 ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of TOREROWA's written reviews are positive against 15% of Elpis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TOREROWA ships an update fortnightly, Elpis every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
