# CrowdFX vs Some Cows

The clearest difference is update cadence: Some Cows at every 2 weeks against CrowdFX's every 7 months. Some Cows also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). CrowdFX's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (350 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Some Cows holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrowdFX has 350 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

CrowdFX ships an update every 7 months, Some Cows every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
