# Countdown Visual Timer vs SIMTA

The clearest difference is rating: SIMTA at 5.0 against Countdown Visual Timer's 4.4. SIMTA also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Countdown Visual Timer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (36 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Visual Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and SIMTA sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Visual Timer ships an update every 3 weeks, SIMTA every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
