# Draw vs Trace Drawing with Camera App

The clearest difference is update cadence: Draw at every 2 weeks against Trace Drawing with Camera App's every 12 months. Trace Drawing with Camera App's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 50%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draw sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Trace Drawing with Camera App sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Draw holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Draw's written reviews are positive against 75% of Trace Drawing with Camera App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Draw ships an update every 2 weeks, Trace Drawing with Camera App every 12 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
