# Atomic vs OptimalWork

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OptimalWork at 100% against Atomic's 33%. OptimalWork also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Atomic's advantage is ratings volume (205 vs 24). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Atomic sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and OptimalWork sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.95 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OptimalWork holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Atomic has 205 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Atomic's written reviews are positive against 100% of OptimalWork's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
