# Next Candles vs Belated

The clearest difference is update cadence: Belated at every 2 weeks against Next Candles's monthly. Belated also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 2) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Next Candles against 5.0 for Belated. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Belated has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Next Candles ships an update monthly, Belated every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
