# Crobo vs istash app

The clearest difference is review sentiment: istash app at 100% against Crobo's 64%. Crobo's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 9) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Crobo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crobo has 2.6K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Crobo's written reviews are positive against 100% of istash app's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Crobo ships an update weekly, istash app every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
