# Switch TV ON vs PodSips

The clearest difference is monetization model: Switch TV ON at free against PodSips's freemium. PodSips's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Switch TV ON sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and PodSips sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Switch TV ON against 5.0 for PodSips. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Switch TV ON's written reviews are positive against 100% of PodSips's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
