# The Q vs Royal Mind

The Q and Royal Mind are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. The Q sells 28 one-off in-app purchases and Royal Mind sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Q ships an update every 2 weeks, Royal Mind every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
