# Disciplined vs Scratch

The clearest difference is price: Disciplined at Free against Scratch's $1.99. Disciplined also leads on ratings volume (278 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Scratch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Disciplined is free to download; Scratch costs $1.99 up front. Disciplined sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Scratch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scratch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8.
