# HWIC vs Exametix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Exametix at every 3 weeks against HWIC's every 6 months. HWIC's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HWIC ships an update every 6 months, Exametix every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
