# OrthoFoodie vs Microgram

The clearest difference is ads: Microgram at none against OrthoFoodie's shown. OrthoFoodie's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OrthoFoodie sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Microgram sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OrthoFoodie ships an update every 3 weeks, Microgram every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
