# OrthoFoodie vs tryKept

The clearest difference is ads: tryKept at none against OrthoFoodie's shown. tryKept also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). OrthoFoodie's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OrthoFoodie sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and tryKept sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OrthoFoodie ships an update every 3 weeks, tryKept weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
