# AI Math vs WhatsThat

The clearest difference is rating: AI Math at 4.6 against WhatsThat's 2.0. AI Math also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (267 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Math sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and WhatsThat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Math holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Math has 267 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of AI Math's written reviews are positive against 71% of WhatsThat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Math ships an update weekly, WhatsThat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
