# Earjoy Intelligence vs Mcdodo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Earjoy Intelligence at 498 against Mcdodo's 7. Earjoy Intelligence also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (14% vs 0%). Mcdodo's advantage is rating (2.9 vs 2.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mcdodo holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Earjoy Intelligence has 498 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Earjoy Intelligence's written reviews are positive against 0% of Mcdodo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Earjoy Intelligence ships an update every 9 days, Mcdodo every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
