# EGO Connect vs PlumBuddy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PlumBuddy at 100% against EGO Connect's 68%. PlumBuddy also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). EGO Connect's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (6.5K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EGO Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EGO Connect has 6.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of EGO Connect's written reviews are positive against 100% of PlumBuddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EGO Connect ships an update every 5 weeks, PlumBuddy every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
