# Wanderly Stories vs Evercrate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Evercrate at every 11 days against Wanderly Stories's every 2 months. Wanderly Stories's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wanderly Stories sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per 3 months and Evercrate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wanderly Stories against 5.0 for Evercrate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wanderly Stories has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Wanderly Stories ships an update every 2 months, Evercrate every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
