# Trancy vs Jolii

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Trancy at 225 against Jolii's 4. Jolii's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trancy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Jolii sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Trancy against 4.5 for Jolii. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trancy has 225 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trancy ships an update monthly, Jolii every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
