# Smart Camera connect vs Pickup Hub

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pickup Hub at every 2 months against Smart Camera connect's every 7 months. Pickup Hub also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Camera connect sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Pickup Hub sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Camera connect ships an update every 7 months, Pickup Hub every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
