# FocusForFun vs Nook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FocusForFun at none against Nook's 6. Nook's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nook sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. FocusForFun asks for nothing beyond the download.

FocusForFun ships an update every 5 months, Nook fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
