# Reel.AI vs Sparkvis

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sparkvis at free with in-app purchases against Reel.AI's subscription. Sparkvis also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reel.AI sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Sparkvis sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
