# FaceLink vs EYEVUE

The clearest difference is rating: FaceLink at 4.6 against EYEVUE's 3.2. FaceLink also leads on ratings volume (284 vs 31) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). EYEVUE's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (25% vs 12%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FaceLink holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceLink has 284 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of FaceLink's written reviews are positive against 25% of EYEVUE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FaceLink ships an update every 3 weeks, EYEVUE weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
