# AI vs SmartBite Recipe

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmartBite Recipe at every 5 days against AI's fortnightly. AI's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.69 per month and SmartBite Recipe sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI ships an update fortnightly, SmartBite Recipe every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
