# LightElf vs 5D HoLo

The clearest difference is rating: LightElf at 3.0 against 5D HoLo's 1.6. 5D HoLo's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 15%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LightElf holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of LightElf's written reviews are positive against 29% of 5D HoLo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
