# Shared Calendar vs LeaderTask

The clearest difference is rating: Shared Calendar at 5.0 against LeaderTask's 4.6. LeaderTask's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shared Calendar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and LeaderTask sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shared Calendar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Shared Calendar's written reviews are positive against 63% of LeaderTask's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shared Calendar ships an update weekly, LeaderTask every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
