# FieldMonitorT vs Video Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Video Camera at every 2 weeks against FieldMonitorT's every 3 months. FieldMonitorT's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FieldMonitorT ships an update every 3 months, Video Camera every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
