# Fun Widgets vs 捣谷

The clearest difference is ads: 捣谷 at none against Fun Widgets's shown. 捣谷 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Fun Widgets's advantage is ratings volume (339 vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fun Widgets sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and 捣谷 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

捣谷 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fun Widgets has 339 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Fun Widgets's written reviews are positive against 63% of 捣谷's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fun Widgets ships an update weekly, 捣谷 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
