# Today vs Bebop

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bebop at 95% against Today's 50%. Bebop also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (43 vs 2). Today's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bebop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Today asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bebop holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bebop has 43 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Today's written reviews are positive against 95% of Bebop's.

Today ships an update every 11 days, Bebop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
