# Bites vs Axnos

The clearest difference is rating: Axnos at 5.0 against Bites's 4.6. Axnos also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Bites's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bites sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Axnos sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Axnos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bites has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bites ships an update fortnightly, Axnos every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
