# Bites vs Notlu

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notlu at none against Bites's 10. Notlu also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Bites's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 3) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bites sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Notlu asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bites holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bites has 2.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
