# AroTaro vs SoriNote

The clearest difference is ads: AroTaro at none against SoriNote's shown. SoriNote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AroTaro sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and SoriNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AroTaro ships an update every 3 weeks, SoriNote every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
