# Maroon Rides vs RedCoach

Maroon Rides and RedCoach both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of Maroon Rides's written reviews are positive against 11% of RedCoach's. Maroon Rides also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (4 vs 1). RedCoach's advantage is ratings volume (892 vs 62). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RedCoach holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RedCoach has 892 ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Maroon Rides's written reviews are positive against 11% of RedCoach's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
