# EmRes vs Coherence

The clearest difference is rating: Coherence at 4.8 against EmRes's 3.7. Coherence also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (623 vs 3). EmRes's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. EmRes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Coherence holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 623 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EmRes ships an update every 2 months, Coherence every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
