# Blast Chain vs Step Cave

The clearest difference is update cadence: Step Cave at every 4 days against Blast Chain's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blast Chain sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Step Cave sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blast Chain ships an update every 6 weeks, Step Cave every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
