# Serafim Console vs Pylux

The clearest difference is rating: Serafim Console at 5.0 against Pylux's 4.1. Pylux's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Serafim Console sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and Pylux sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Serafim Console holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pylux has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Serafim Console ships an update every 4 months, Pylux every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
