# PPBRVA vs Mid

The clearest difference is ads: Mid at none against PPBRVA's shown. Mid also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PPBRVA's advantage is ratings volume (215 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PPBRVA against 5.0 for Mid. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PPBRVA has 215 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PPBRVA ships an update every 3 weeks, Mid fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
