# Den Rewards vs The Spice

The clearest difference is rating: The Spice at 5.0 against Den Rewards's 4.5. The Spice also leads on ratings volume (126 vs 2). Den Rewards's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Spice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Spice has 126 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Den Rewards ships an update every 2 months, The Spice every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
