# SlideUp vs PinkChats

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SlideUp at none against PinkChats's 4. SlideUp also leads on ratings volume (260 vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PinkChats sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. SlideUp asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SlideUp against 5.0 for PinkChats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SlideUp has 260 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

SlideUp ships an update weekly, PinkChats fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
