# Digital Detox vs Vigil Lock

The clearest difference is rating: Vigil Lock at 5.0 against Digital Detox's 4.5. Vigil Lock also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 64%). Digital Detox's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Detox sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Vigil Lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
