# Car Simulator vs Project Drag Racing

The clearest difference is rating: Project Drag Racing at 4.3 against Car Simulator's 3.9. Project Drag Racing also leads on ratings volume (198 vs 10). Car Simulator's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Simulator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Project Drag Racing sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Project Drag Racing holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Project Drag Racing has 198 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Car Simulator ships an update every 2 weeks, Project Drag Racing monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
