# Frames vs CringedIn

The clearest difference is update cadence: CringedIn at daily against Frames's every 6 months. CringedIn also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frames sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CringedIn sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frames ships an update every 6 months, CringedIn daily. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
